Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan and Community Wildfire Protection Plan Update

Pennington County is currently in the process of updating the 2018 Pennington County Mitigation Plan, and will include the incorporation and update of the Pennington County Community Wildfire Protection Plan. This update will provide guidance to help reduce negative impacts on people, property, and infrastructure caused by natural hazards.

The updated plan is approved pending adoption as of February 18, 2025
